PBS' superb Salinger doubles down as 200th episode in American Masters series

The elongated “director’s cut” version of Salinger weighs in at two-and-a- half hours on Tuesday, Jan. 21st. But the time will go by fast with this stellar look at the famously reclusive J. D. Salinger, whose signature The Catcher in the Rye was first published in 1951. It airs under the banner of PBS’ American Masters series. And our review is here.
