Louisiana offers its version of Anna Nicole's odd coupling in A&E's The Governor's Wife

The proud state of Louisiana now has its own version of Anna Nicole/J. Howard with the marriage of 86-year-old former governor Edwin Edwards and 35-year-old Trina Grimes Scott, whom he met in prison while serving time on a racketeering conviction.
The guv has two sexagenarian daughters from his first marriage while Trina is the mother of two teenage sons from her first. So of course it’s been turned into a “reality” series, with A&E doing the honors on Sunday, Oct. 27th. Our review is here.
