A tale of two shifts: Nightline being pushed behind Kimmel while also getting Friday prime-time slot

Overall it's a demotion. After nearly 33 years in the same time slot, Nightline will be pushed back an hour early next year to make room for ABC's Jimmy Kimmel to go head-to-head with Jay Leno and David Letterman.
