Golden Globes are up/down in D-FW ratings

Sunday night’s empowerment-fueled Golden Globes awards on NBC took a significant dip from last year’s ceremony in total D-FW viewers. But the show had a small increase among advertiser-coveted 18-to-49-year-olds. One thing didn’t change from year-to-year. Fox’s preceding NFL playoff game again had far more viewers in both ratings measurements. All the details are on our Dallas-Fort Worth TV page.

Plus, in case you missed these earlier posts, Showtime launched a first-rate new series, The Chi, opposite the Globes; TEGNA8 has a new president-general manager and Alexa Conomos officially signed off from TEGNA8’s Daybreak after 15 years with the program.
