One event will be hosted by model citizen Caroline Kennedy. The other features supermodel Karolina "Kinka" Kurkova.

December is the month that CBS bookends with The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and The Kennedy Center Honors. The spirit is willing, and the flesh is great, too.

Supermodels in lingerie taxi down a Los Angeles runway on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. (central). Then on Dec. 26, it's a tux 'n' gown salute to esteemed artists Brian Wilson, Martin Scorsese, Steve Martin, Diana Ross and pianist/conductor Leon Fleisher. They'll all be gathered in the same royal boxes as President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.

No network has an odder couple of specials. In a biblical sense, it's Sodom and Gomorrah followed by the Sermon on the Mount.

CBS's nightie night is co-hosted by the still picturesque Heidi Klum and her husband, Seal, who'll sing. The Spice Girls and WILL.I.AM also are scheduled to perform, although is that really necessary?

The Kennedy Center Honors, in their 30th year, remain decorous without being stuffy anymore. Yo Yo Ma will be there, but so will Hootie & the Blowfish and the latest American Idol champ, Jordin Sparks.

It's hard to imagine her having much to do with the inaugural, very high-brow quintet of honorees -- Fred Astaire, Marian Anderson, George Balanchine, Richard Rodgers and Arthur Rubinstein. But Sparks will be singing a Supremes medley to Ross, which seems defensible.

Just don't ever let Pauly Shore in. OK?
