An update on our sometimes out of sight site
10/19/06 01:53 PM
We've been experiencing a few
technical difficulties lately here at unclebarky.com.
Things might be acting a little fishy for a bit, plus
some previously published material has vanished,
although we've saved most of it. Also, the comments
are displaced on certain previously written posts,
such as the discussion of Kinky Friedman tied to the
piece on Troy Dungan's retirement next summer. Sorry,
Troy.
We have, however, used this time to upgrade to RapidWeaver 3.5. Among other things, permalinks are now implemented. So now you can link directly to a post about Emmitt Smith or the local TV ratings instead of just linking to the whole page. Just click the "Permalink" button next to Ed's name at the top of every post. Also, notice our very first banner ad up top. It's our premium advertising space. Email prolab@comcast.net or unclebarky@comcast.net if you'd like more information. And remember, we also have our Blog Ads up. Just click "advertise here."
It's been quite a first month for unclebarky. com, and we're happy to still be very much alive. Thanks for your support. You're our lifeblood and we know it.
Ed Bark, content grinder-outer, and Carl Morgan, webmaster.
