NBC's riskiest prime-time venture ever, The Jay Leno Show, now has its own newborn website.
Launched Wednesday, it's intended to whet appetites for the Sept. 14th premiere of the program, which will run Mondays through Fridays at 9 p.m. (central). NBC used the same tack with Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, whose website preceded the TV version of the show by several months.
Here's one of the short videos currently offered exclusively on thejaylenoshow.com. It shows the host trying out a few new jokes with his staff, who are required to laugh or be fired -- he jokes. A short commercial precedes the festivities.
