NBC5 reporter earns his wings

Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds had a sequel this week on DFW-based NBC5, with reporter Omar Villafranca part of the pecking order.
Villafranca, who's also covering the vulturous Texas governor's race, found himself in the bullseye of a mockingbird's target practice while doing a story on how Dallas cops are being "pecked, clawed and dive-bombed" outside DPD headquarters.
