CBS11, Fox4 are pacesetters at halfway point of Feb. "sweeps" newscast competitions

By ED BARK
We're halfway through the February "sweeps" ratings wars, with only NBC5 without a lead dog at 6 a.m. or at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.

Fox4 and CBS11 instead are in the best ratings shapes, with 10 weeknights in the books and another 10 to come before the Wednesday, March 2nd end point. Here are the results so far in both total viewers and 25-to-54-year-olds, the main target audience for news programming on most stations. Races are so tight in some cases that we've extended all the measurements to three decimal points rather than rounding them off.
