Let's hope they'll be worth watching in crystal clear clarity.
The Texas Rangers, most of whose seasons have been all a blur, will have a record number of high-definition telecasts this season.
Fox Sports Southwest says that 108 of its 133 Rangers games will be in HD. That's a big jump over last season's 65.
Add 11 of MY27's 24 games in HD, plus Fox4's April 6th Opening Day presentation. That's a total of 120, compared to 86 last season. Most fans will be happy with 86 wins this season, though. Delirious maybe.
As previously reported on unclebarky.com, less than one-fifth of this season's games will be on free over-the-air TV. That includes the entire months of July and August on Fox Sports Southwest, which last year carried 110 games.
