CBS11 anchor Karen Borta set to walk The Talk next week

CBS11 anchor Karen Borta will be popping in as a guest host on The Talk next week.
Borta, who has been with the D-FW station since 1995, is scheduled for the Tuesday, June 28th edition of the CBS show, joining incumbent hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini. CBS chieftain Leslie Moonves' wife, Julie Chen, has the week off.
The Talk airs at 1 p.m. on CBS11. Other anchors from CBS owned-and-operated stations also are filling in for Chen this week. The Talk is CBS' version of ABC's The View. All of the hosts are mothers, as is Borta.
D-FW news personalities lately are getting some nice doses of national exposure. WFAA8 weekend meteorologist Colleen Coyle recently did the weather for a week on ABC's Good Morning America.
