Underestimating ourselves

Several weeks ago, we reported hitting
the 100,000 page view mark on unclebarky.com.
Actually it's been much better than that. In our Internet naivete, we confused visitors with page views. So at this point, unclebarky.com has had more than 130,000 visitors and well over 300,000 page views since launching on Sept. 17, 2006.
Now it's on to Pasadena, Calif., at my expense, for the annual mid-season network TV "press tour." Beginning on Tuesday, look for dispatches on the brand new TV Press Tour page. You'll be glad you did.
Also, people have asked how they can help unclebarky.com stay in business. Be assured there will never be a user registration or any fees imposed on our readers. You can, however, support the site's new advertisers. Planning to purchase something on overstock, itunes or amazon.com? If you click on those sites through unclebarky.com, a small percentage of the proceeds will go to yours truly. Every little bit helps. And the ads are on the right-hand border.
