The so-called "upfront" announcements of broadcast networks' new seasons aren't due until the week of May 17th. But NBC keeps throwing pre-parties.

Three more newcomers were named Friday following Monday's reveal of the J.J. Abrams series Undercovers.

The Event, billed as "an emotional high-octane conspiracy thriller," stars Jason Ritter (The Class) as an "Everyman" who stumbles into prime-time's latest vast conspiracy while investigating the disappearance of his fiancee. TV vet Blair Underwood co-stars as a U.S. president named Martinez.

Outsourced, a comedy, charts the changing fortunes of Mid America Novelties, whose wares include foam fingers, whoopee cushions and wallets made of bacon. The company's manager, played by Ben Rappaport (off-Broadway's The Gingerbread House), is forced to relocate to India when the company's call center is outsourced.

Love Bites is a Love, American Style-ish anthology series weaving three weekly "loosely connected, modern stories of love, sex, marriages and dating." It's also supposed to have an "irreverent, edgy spin." Guest stars in the pilot episode include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Greg Grunberg from Heroes and Craig Robinson (The Office).
