Forget about Paula Abdul reuniting with Simon Cowell when his The X-Factor series launches on Fox in fall 2011.

Instead she'll be just about everything on CBS' Got To Dance, which doesn't have an air date or any audition sites scheduled yet but of course is a U.S. version of a British "ratings sensation."

CBS announced Monday that Abdul will be the show's executive producer, creative partner, mentor, coach and lead judge. But she won't be doing the catering, at least as of this writing.

"Each and every week we'll showcase the challenges and successes of a fantastic group of dancers as they perform and compete," Abdul says in a publicity release. "Compelling stories, exciting competition and amazing dance performances are guaranteed."

Abdul, a charter judge on Fox's American Idol, was dropped for this season after a salary dispute. Cowell will be leaving the show after Wednesday night's Season 9 finale to begin putting his X-Factor talent competition together.
