Jennifer Myers of ABC affiliate KVIA-TV in El Paso will be Fox4's new weekend morning meteorologist, the Dallas-based station announced Tuesday.
Myers, a University of Oklahoma graduate, has been with KVIA since 2010 as a weathercaster, reporter and fill-in anchor. Her first scheduled day at Fox4 is on July 24th.
"Severe weather has always been my passion, so being in a place where I can do what I love is really something I'm looking forward to," Myers says in a publicity release.
Fox4 also has three other meteorologists -- Dan Henry, Evan Andrews and Ron Jackson. Fiona Gorostiza, who joined the station in December 2008 as both a weathercaster and reporter, is now listed on Fox4's website as a full-time feature reporter who mainly works for the early morning Good Day program.
