Leggy showgirl, er, WFAA8 anchor Shelly Slater won the latest Top Hats and Tails celebrity dance competition over the weekend with perfect scores for her Argentine tango.

It all benefits the Paws in the City animal rescue mission, so Uncle Barky will resist being catty.

Slater and her pro dance partner prevailed over a field of eight entrants, including WFAA8 Daybreak anchor Ron Corning, Fox4 consumer reporter Steve Noviello and CBS11 reporter Melissa Newton. The polka/hip-hop stylings of your friendly content provider again failed to generate an invitation to compete.

Fox4 weathercaster/entertainment reporter Fiona Gorostiza won last year's competition. Former NBC5 sports anchor Scott Murray, seen on the fringes of the above pictures, again emceed.
