Belated update: Reporter Courtney Gimore is no longer with NBC5

D-FW news stations generally don’t publicly announce departures, unless they’re giving a longtime contributor a big sendoff.
So this one fell through the cracks until a follower on Twitter asked what happened to NBC5 reporter Courtney Gilmore.
It turns out she left the station in June after a three-year stay, NBC5 spokesman Brian Hocker confirms. “She was planning to leave North Texas, but I don’t know where/if she’s working now.”
Gilmore’s social media pages don’t provide any further clues. She joined NBC5 after spending nine years at Houston’s NBC affiliate, KPRC-TV. Gilmore is a University of Minnesota graduate who also has a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
