Prime-time’s top draw Thursday, a repeat of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory, tells you a little something about how the networks half-step into the New Year.
BB had 181,778 D-FW viewers and also ranked No. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. among advertiser-prized 18-to-49-year-olds with 54,521. But the day’s overall winner in both ratings measurements was CBS11’s syndicated Wheel of Fortune with respective totals of 239,946 and 57,729 viewers at 6:30 p.m.
ESPN’s parade of college football bowl games was led by San Antonio’s Alamo Bowl, in which Oklahoma State routed Colorado. It averaged 152,693 total viewers and 51,314 in the 18-to-49-year-old realm.
Here are Thursday’s local news derby results.
CBS11 had the most total viewers at 10 p.m. while Fox4 and NBC5 tied for the top spot among 25-to-54-year-olds (main advertiser target audience for news programming).
Fox4 drew the most total viewers at 6 a.m. and shared the 25-to-54 gold with the Peacock.
NBC5 had clean sweeps at both 5 and 6 p.m.
