It’s been a very busy year of comings and goings in D-FW TV newsrooms, and here’s the latest.
Fox4 has added reporter David Sentendrey, who will be assigned to the 9 and 10 p.m. weeknight newscasts, starting on Nov. 11th.
Vice President and News Director Robin Whitmeyer said in a statement Thursday that Sentendrey’s “relentless investigations have held authorities accountable and resulted in significant changes. I know he’ll bring that same passion to the work he does in North Texas.”
Sentendrey will arrive from Fox affiliate WJZY-TV in Charlotte, NC, where he’s been a self-described “digital journalist” since January 2014. The Appalachian State University graduate previously covered the Charlotte Hornets (who were the Bobcats back then) for the Charlotte Examiner before joining the Enquirer-Journal in Monroe, NC.
“This is an opportunity to further grow and learn from a whole new team of respected journalists,” Sentendrey says.
