"strongly protest" any attempt by ABC to air the
prospective prime-time series Good Christian
Bitches with that title intact. The station's
response to complainants also emphasizes that the
network has only committed to producing a pilot with
that working title, with shooting scheduled to begin

It required something of an
archaeological dig. But at last we've unearthed a
1978 promo for Milwaukee's WITI-TV that has glimpses
of Fox4's Clarice Tinsley in her last year at the
station before heading here. WITI also was the
longtime home of Albert the Alley Cat, a wisecracking
hand puppet who worked the weather segments before
later segueing to sports. See the video here, complete with a
climactic, festive dinner table scene in which
Tinsley breaks bread with her fellow WITI
personalities, including slap-happy Albert.
