CBS announces new midseason schedule

No. 1 CBS will be ringing in the New Year with a handful of significant changes, including the eventual banishment of William Shatner's pain-in-the-ass-to-type sitcom. Also, the red-hot Dallas Mavericks drummed up some local interest in Tuesday's D-FW Nielsen ratings.
