NBC5 takes a road less traveled in Big Buses, Bigger Problems

NBC5 lead investigative reporter Scott Friedman and his team have been assigned full-time for the past six months on an evolving series titled Big Buses, Bigger Problems. ABC announces new season -- and then keeps making new announcements

ABC has a big boatload of new season plans, and dribbled out some of the bigger ones Tuesday after first releasing what was thought to be everything.

But the network’s 18-page menu made no mention of several big items, all of them now bold-faced in our updated piece on the Network News & Reviews page.

Also, ABC’s Downward Dog premieres on Wednesday, April 17th. And my surname notwithstanding, I really like it. Our review is here.

NBC/Fox announce new season menus

NBC and Fox each added just three new series to their fall menus in times when “stability” is increasingly prized -- even if some returnees remain seriously ratings-challenged.

Fox is on the same page, although some intriguing talk about American Idol negotiations overshadowed the network’s other news.
