Leaving on a jet plane (but do know when we'll be back again)

A long-planned trip abroad -- nice planning, eh? -- will waylay further postings on unclebarky.com until Monday, Nov. 14th. By then we’ll know full well who won -- unless there’s a repeat of 2000 (nooooooo!). Happy election day, and we’ll see you at the other end.

The Crown: another feather in Netflix cap

The Royals, and not those from Kansas City, get a big, bold drama series in Netflix’s The Crown, which begins streaming all 10 Season One episodes on Friday, Nov. 4th. The reign of Elizabeth II is its focal point, and 63 years later she’s still not done. Our review is here.

Also, Cubs win!!! Cubs win!!! And Wednesday’s D-FW Nielsen ratings responded in a big way while also also putting a big dent in the numbers for ABC’s usually potent Country Music Association awards ceremony. Get all the numbers on our Dallas-Fort Worth TV page.
