Presenting the Dallas Press Club's Sept. 7th "Cowboys Kickoff" event, with Brad, Babe, Kristi and "The Dooce"

Another not-to-be-missed Press Club of Dallas event is coming soon. It’s the Wednesday, Sept. 7th “Cowboys Kickoff,” featuring the longstanding radio team of Brad Sham, Babe Laufenberg and Kristi Scales. Fox4 anchor Mike Doocy will be our moderator.
Besides seeing and hearing them in an intimate setting, you’ll also have a chance -- at just $2 per raffle ticket -- to win some very cool sports tems, including a signed Dirk Nowitzki jersey and footballs autographed by Cowboys Hall of Famer Roger Staubach. Our charity beneficiary is okaytosay.org, a mental health awareness initiative for which Brad, Mark Cuban, Emmitt Smith, Eric Nadel and Mayor Mike Rawlings among others have cut supportive videos. Just four days after the event, the Cowboys will begin regular season play with a Sunday, Sept. 11th game against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium.
Previous Press Club events have sold out, so you’re advised to act now. Tickets are extremely affordable, and include dinner, wine, beer and soft drinks at Dallas’ 3015 Trinity Groves Event Center. Further details -- and online ticket-buying information -- are on our Dallas-Fort Worth TV page.
Also, Fort Worth-based NBC5 has hired Samantha Chatman as the station’s new consumer reporter. And Tuesday’s D-FW ratings “snapshot” is also posted.
