Cowboys' ratings droop; Leslie Moonves is dropped

The Dallas Cowboys sourly began their regular season Sunday with a dull-edged 16-8 loss at Carolina. And it got worse for owner Jerry Jones’ bottom line when the game’s D-FW Nielsen ratings fell well below those for the previous two season-openers.
