Mark Knopfler leaves Dire Straits dangling during HBO's annual presentation of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Dire Straits’ top-selling album was “Brothers In Arms.” But that wasn’t the case at the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where band leader Mark Knopfler’s no-show killed any chance of the group performing. HBO’s three-hour presentation airs on Saturday, May 5th, and our review is here.
