WFAA8, which has experienced an anchor-reporter exodus this summer, is using former Houston reporter Wendy Corona as a weekend freelancer under the current plan.
This is particularly interesting in light of Corona's unsuccessful lawsuit against her previous TV employer. WFAA8 has some recent first-hand experience with that. Details are on the Dallas-Fort Worth TV page.
