CBS11 getting that old-time WFAA8 religion again -- this time with a feature on Jerry "Mr. Peppermint" Haynes

CBS11's Friday, 10 p.m. newscast will include a profile on former WFAA8 mainstay Jerry "Mr. Peppermint" Haynes. It's not coincidental that this is the May "sweeps" ratings period. Or that CBS11 did quite all right in the February "sweeps" with a two-part reunion and revisit starring anchor Tracy Rowlett and weathercaster Troy Dungan, both of whom also came to stardom on WFAA8.
